Checkfront for Drupal

From time to time, I have heard folks wonder aloud how they might integrate a reservation system into Drupal.  Would they have to develop their own module or was there something available already.  Today I was notified of the Checkfront Module for Drupal.  The notification came out before the commit release, but hopefully the release will roll in the next 24 hours or so.  This module interfaces with Checkfront a Software as a Service (SaaS) reservation system.&nbsp

Setting Up a MultiSite Drupal Installation Using cPanel

Recently, I had a need to set up a multisite installation on a shared hosting environment (Hostmonster).  My only access to the server currently, until I jump through the appropriate hoops to get SSH access, is FTP and cPanel.  Try as I might, I had difficulties with the installation until I found this article here.  Unfortunately, there are just a few missing steps, so with credit to the original author, kham08 over at Drupal Groups, I am going to give a fuller explanation.  Finally, play careful attention

I just updated?!?

Setting Up Cron Job for Drupal in Hostmonster

ProjectNashville.com utilizes Drupal as its content management system. In setting up the site, I went to start up the cron job. A quick search yielded the following:
1) Log into my Hostmonster cPanel interface.
2) Select Cron Jobs
3) Select Standard as your experience level.
4) Enter in
php -q /home/USERNAME/public_html/cron.php

So it turns out that there is one more qualifier. When you log into cPanel. Look on the left-hand side under Stats. Look for home directory. In my case, my home directory was /home2/USERNAME. So the proper syntax should have been:
