As I tweeted from the NHL Predators game, thousands of people showed up for a party and a hockey game broke out! I never had an interest in going to a Preds game until a neighbor of ours offered us seats to a game one Saturday afternoon. Within fifteen minutes of sitting down in our seats we were hooked. There is fast action in the rink, intense fans (a shout out to Section 303), and constant entertainment during intermissions and breaks in play.

If you go, be prepared to pay $5-20 for parking. Dress casual and in layers. Barring a jersey of your favorite player, a sweater or sweatshirt works well. Snack prices are on the order of other sports venues. A beer, a soda, and a cup of fries ran us about $18, but let's be honest the beer was half of that.

The Preds schedule shows them playing from late September through (and hopefully beyond) April. Take an evening out and enjoy a game!
