Wow, so a funny think happened to me on the way to work today...  Ok, not so much on the way to work as while at work.  Ubercart, which was working so well, decided out of nowhere not to upload images associated with products. 

Let me save you an hour.  Of course, you have already checked your file permissions.  So what is the deal?  Ubercart does not handle image names with special characters in it eloquently. As in, it acts like it is going to upload it, and it displays a beautiful, black thumbnail.  The correct image sometimes appears in the preview screen, but not always, and never after it is submitted and published.  So in my case, it all comes down to a + sign in the image name.  Who knew?  Well Ryan did comment on the odd behavior here. But, it took me a while to find it.  Here's to hoping it doesn't take you as long to find it.
