Be Prepared

This evening was a late one as Amy and I spent the whole night at the Nashville Chapter of the Red Cross.  We believe that it is important to stay current on our CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification.  In two nights, once a year, we go through a training that we have gone through a dozen times before.  It changes every so often like the number of compressions to breaths, but it is roughly the same.  But we go for the certification and to practice it.  We want it to be an ingrained action -- one, that if we ever have to use our training, is automatic.  I hope I never have to use it, but I am thankful to the Red Cross and the part of their mission that prepares us for disasters.
